Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Other: The same letter is not considered as the same
letter
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)

Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.0.2.2 release
Component: UI
Product: LibreOffice
Created attachment 82746

An image showing the jump from first to third by skipping the second one.
Problem description:
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create three phrases: "i believe, I believe and İ believe"
2. Try to search by pressing Ctrl+F
3. Enter "i" to find "I".
4.
Current behavior:
It does not find "I" if you type in small letters instead of capital letters.
Note that this does not affect other characters in Turkish charset.
Expected behavior:
It should find since typing to search is not case sensitive.
Notes:
Microsoft has some comments related to issue in its own platforms. Maybe this
could be a workaround:
