This sounds like a DOCX compatibility issue where LibreOffice maps its native
list styles to Word-specific styles (WWNumx) on reload. Since List1 formatting
is not being preserved after reopening, it suggests a style-translation problem
during DOCX import/export. Consistency in formatting is crucial—much like in
digital https://techbunch.org/ layouts—where even small visual changes can
alter the intended presentation. Hopefully this can be addressed to ensure
native list styles remain intact across saves.
