            Bug ID: 170214
           Summary: To format insividual characters in axes labels of
                    diagrams
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 3.3.0 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Chart
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I need to create a bar chart for different plants. It's good practice to write
genus and species italicized, and both abbreviations and cultivar names
non-italicized. But it requires in both Chart and Calc some workarounds, which
are usually broken when transferring to other PC on after many upgrades of the
OS/LO. Please make it possible in new versions to format the x-axis labels
individually or to use HTML/LaTeX formatting.

Steps to Reproduce:
Try to write in any diagram (Chart of Calc) some plant cultivar such as (in
HTML format)
                    <em>Dracaena fragrans</em> &apos;Massangeana&apos;
It's impossible to write this in the formatting above, but very important for
theses, monographs, etc.

Actual Results:
It's impossible in any way

Expected Results:
"Dracaena fragrans" - italicized;
Massangeana - normal font

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
