--- Comment #3 from Nox0815 <[email protected]> ---
I’ve tested the issue in both Writer and standalone Math mode. The syntax is
correct — I’m using standard StarMath input like alpha, pi, theta, and sin
alpha = GK over H. Brackets, fractions, and layout commands like newline and
quad work as expected.

However, Greek letters do not render at all. Instead of showing symbols like α
or π, the formula displays the codewords (alpha, pi) as plain text. This
happens even though:

OpenSymbol is installed and selected under Format → Fonts → Math

The FontCache service is running (sc query FontCache = RUNNING)

The system is clean: OpenOffice removed, LibreOffice reinstalled, profile reset

No blocked DLLs or Defender interference

/regserver has been executed

The issue persists in both Writer and standalone Math

I’ve also tried using font sans, nitalic, and other layout modifiers — no
change. Brackets and fractions render correctly, but Greek symbols do not.

This seems to be a reproducible issue on Windows, possibly related to how
StarMath maps symbol fonts internally.

Thanks again for looking into it — happy to provide more diagnostics or
screenshots if needed.
