Bug ID: 170215
Summary: Charts changed dramatically after supporting 1904 null
date
Product: LibreOffice

Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Keywords: bisected, filter:docx, regression
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Chart

Some charts seem to laid out dramatically differently
after 25.8.0 commit 33f644074e498336d97a881be903662c9a6abedf

OOXML handling of 1904 null date for charts with internal data provider
Reviewed-on: https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/187835
Steps to reproduce:
-open attachment 94631 (166.docx) from bug 75420
on page 5, the chart no longer takes up the width of the page, the title text
is squeezed, and the bottom legend is displaced. This particular chart looks
worse overall.
on page 9, the top chart's title "Occupied Days" has moved into the line graph.
In general, however, this particular chart seems to have an improved layout.
Also seen with:
-fdo40594-7 chart shifted and legend offset/hidden. attachment 94136
(Demo-Hayden-Management-v2-chart.docx)
-fdo75309-1 much taller - legend shifted. attachment 94492 (test-import.docx)
Marking as a regression, but not assigning blame because I expect it has just
exposed some existing limitations or bugs.
