Agreed, they are very confusing.

That sounds quite reasonable (although I'm not sure about the commentary in
parenthesis; it may be a better for the documentation or a tooltip).

Well... there are the 3 other checkboxes below: "Font scripts to be embedded: [
] Latin [ ] Asian [ ] Complex". Supposedly, these settings are independent from
the previous ones, but not really: In this respect as well, you may want to
"embed fonts that are in active use", i.e. if glyphs from the Asian font are
used, embed it; or you could embed some fixed combination of the three fonts
regardless of what's in actual use, whenever a font is embedded.

So, would you say that belongs in a separate issue, or should it rather be
considered as part of this one?
