But, LO has always allowed input of a pdf file, converting it into a number of Drawing pages. That being said, there is a failure in LO acceptance of a pdf file. And thank you for suggesting that LO be enhanced to include a pdf converter. This would be much appreciate. If you include an interpreter you might's well also include an OCR reader, to convert bitmaps into letters/tables as required. And, in this mode it may be a good thing to perhaps integrate one of the existing OCR's into LO rather than starting anew. I have heard that tesseract (a 2-D version of a 4-D figure) is good.
