            Bug ID: 170378
Summary: .odp file created in recent update of Libre Impress
                    cannot be opened in Android
           Product: Impress Remote
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: Android
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: General
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Previous .odp LibreOffice files sent from my Windows 10 laptop could be opened
by all recipients on their Android phones or home laptops.

Today, January 17,2026, the .odp file I sent to my husband's Android phone
could not be opened and read in its entirety. I need to add that I have had
recent (Jan 8th) updates to my Libre application, especially the "program"
folder.

In the email I sent with my attached .odp file, the first slide is displayed
with the filename.odp, a download icon, then an upload icon.

When I clicked on the filename:
-- At the top of the resultant screen, the filename is displayed with
"Read-only".
-- Then a horizontal section states "Read Only - To make changes, save a copy
of this file into a Microsoft Office file format." then two buttons for "Save a
copy" and "Dismiss".
-- Another horizontal section states "Read Only - Save a copy to edit."
followed by the two buttons listed above. This option is not necessary as I am
allowing NO EDITS to my original file.
NOTE: The "Save a copy" is not used as I no longer have Microsoft Office.
-- Then there are apparent spaces for the first 3 slides...but those spaces are
all empty.

The file never appears to even try to download.

I have changed the Severity to "critical" as there are several recipients of my
LibreOffice files who work in fairly significant functions within my community,
and need the information that I send them!!

Thanks for looking into this seeming bug....
