            Bug ID: 170447
Summary: While Editing a cell, content reappears when last
                    character is deleted from cell
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.4.2 release
          Hardware: ARM
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
While editing a cell in Calc, when I delete characters from a cell via the
backspace or delete key they disappear from the cell as expected, but the
moment I delete the last character from the cell the original contents of the
cell reappears. When I now press enter the cell is empty, so this seams to be
just a display issue.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new Calc sheet.
2. Enter some text into a cell.
3. press enter (leave the cell)
4. edit the cell, delete characters via delete or backspace key till all
characters were deleted.

Actual Results:
After the last character has been deleted the cell suddenly displays the
contents that was in there before the deletion started.

Expected Results:
Cell should be displayed as empty.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I've seen this behaviour on 2 different computers under Windows 11 and on MacOS
with LibreOffice 25.8.
Previously I did use LibreOffice 25.2 and the bug was not present.
