--- Comment #18 from studog <[email protected]> --- Reproduced on: Version: 25.8.4.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 580(Build:2) CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 6.14; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-CA (en_CA.UTF-8); UI: en-US Ubuntu package version: 4:25.8.4~rc2-0ubuntu0.24.04.1~lo1 Calc: threaded NOTE: There is a change here. Instead of vaguely "Enter this in <cell>", one must now (since my last reproduction) enter the text by: - click target cell to select it - F2 - ctrl-v to paste the text from this instruction If F2 is not employed, the paste operation succeeds but there is an automatic process that causes the long text to be wrapped instead of spilled. Maybe this is a change in an option's default? _hm_ Having typed that, I tried reproducing with the auto-wrapped-text and the problem exists anyway, so I guess that doesn't matter. And what's really odd: once text had been "non-wrapped", ctrl-v would always spill. It seems that initial auto-wrap might be a special case in the code. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
