This has been happening to me now for at leas a couple of years. I have raised
it, only to be told I must be doing something wrong, but How am I supposed to
work that out?

For a time, I just stopped using the Dev versions, but that is frustrating
because it does not happen with Calc, or Writer, and since most of the
community I exchange fields with are typically using MS Office, the latest Dev
versions typically can handle MS better.

I also use the dev versions because it is my way of giving back.
