Description:
I have started to get, after a recent update, a dialogue from Windows UAC,
asking for permission to run updater.exe. The first time it did, indeed, do
some sort of update - I am now on 25.8.2.2
But it keeps coming. Today I had to open the calc spreadsheet 3 times in as
many minutes, and I got this dialogue every time. That's rather more frequent
than sensible. It has become intrusive.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open any component
Actual Results:
the UAC dialogue takes over the desktop and has to be dismissed
Expected Results:
The dialogue should only appear if an actual update has to be done - check
first, then launch the updater (which launches the UAC dialogue)
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
