And there is no record in Defender's history of blocking any program or process. I also tried installing the previous version, Libre 25.2.6.2, which worked fine, and a window appeared with the message "To install LibreOffice on Windows 8.1, you need to have the April 2014 update (MS KB 2919355) installed."
