--- Comment #4 from sophie <[email protected]> --- So, here is the answer I get from the FR community: Regarding the LibreOffice bug: It would be helpful to add a note to the Calc documentation and recommend alternatives (e.g., manually implementing declining balance depreciation via formulas or using AMORLIN for straight-line depreciation). - For accounting depreciation: use AMORLIN (or AMORLINC) for straight-line depreciation with pro rata temporis. - To simulate declining balance depreciation for tax purposes: create a custom table with the formulas (net value × declining balance rate), then calculate the excess amount. - In LibreOffice Calc: equivalent functions exist (AMORDEGRC is still available for compatibility, but not recommended).
