            Bug ID: 170607
Summary: Switching to light mode temporarily turns text
                    illegible
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.0.0 beta1+
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
When you switch from the dark theme to the light theme (in my particular case,
on the Welcome screen, but I've seen this behaviour in the past, when I switch
via the settings) and you hover the mouse, both the text colour and the
background colour turn white in some cases, which turns the text illegible.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. You open LibreOffice for the first time after installing it.
2. You click, for example, on 'Writer Document' to see the Welcome screen.
3. You click on Appearance > Themes > Light.
4. You hover the mouse on the tabs and on the buttons.

Actual Results:
It seems as if some of the changes are applied before restarting, but not all
them. As a result, both the text colour and the background colour turn white in
a few places.

Expected Results:
To avoid this type of issue, when you switch from one theme to another, no
changes at all should take place until you have restarted the programme.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
I’ve noticed this behaviour before 26.2, but I can't remember when I saw it for
the first time.
