Description:
Whenever I try to upgrade LO 25.8.1.1 to a new stable release (be it 25.8.4 or
26.2.0.3), I always get this error message (in Portuguese that I translated to
English:
«Error 1324. The path dbreport|ui includes an invalid character»
I even tried to uninstall LO 25.8.1.1 so I could make a fresh install of LO
26.2.3, but I keep getting that same error, preventing me to uninstall it.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Download 25.8.4 or 26.2.0.3
2.Start installation process
3.Midway through the installation validation process I always get the above
mentioned Error 1324
4. I click in the OK button
5. The Installation Assistant says that it was interrupted before the
installation was concluded, that the system wasn't changed, that to conclude
the installation I need to execute again the installation programme.
6. I click Finish
Actual Results:
Whenever I try it, I can't install a new release or uninstall the current one
(25.8.1.1) so that I could install a pristine one.
Expected Results:
Show me a way to overcome the error and to be able to install a new version or
uninstall the installed one.
