Bug ID: 170702
Summary: LibreOffice Writer displays visual artifacts (white
stripes) on photos in documents with multiple images
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.2.0.3 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Whenever I open a document with multiple images, all of them have display
artifacts in the form of horizontal white stripes.
Document format does not matter. Happens in all formats supported by Writer.
Happens both when running natively on Wayland, and when using Xwayland.
The often-recommended fix of disabling hardware acceleration does not work.
Artifacts happen both with disabled and enabled acceleration.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open LibreOffice Writer text document that contains images
2. Scroll down to images
Actual Results:
Images have visual artifacts in the form of horizontal white stripes.
Expected Results:
There should be no visual artifacts
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
