Description:
Read-only is set once an ods or xlsx file is created or opened. REmoving the
read-only option in the file properties does not solve the problem.
This is a new effects since version 26.2.0
Workaround: Saves as -> new file name -> replacing the original file with that
renamed file. But then the effect reappears.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a xlsx or ods file
2. make changes
3. save
Actual Results:
Error message (translated from German with Deepl):
Error saving document XYZ. Error creating object. Backup copy could not be
created.
GERMAN: Fehler beim Speichern des Dokuments XYZ. Fehler beim erstellen des
Objekts. Sicherungskopie konnte nicht erstellt werden.
Expected Results:
File should be saved, but produces error message instead. "Save as" works fine
after removing the check "read-only".
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
We are running Windows an Linux machines. The error ocurred on two Win 11
machines. Testing on an Ubuntu machine has not taken place yet. Will report
once this is available.
