            Bug ID: 170736
           Summary: Dictionary: Sub-dictionaries for Specific Fields
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Linguistic
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

Description:
Split main dictionary into Sub-dictionaries;
Build specialised dictionaries for specific fields;
Merge words from dictionaries at runtime or per document;

Example: "en_US" + "en_US:Medicine" + "en_US:Immunology"

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Check spelling in a document;
2. Many words in Scientific or Biomedical fields are missing;
3.

Actual Results:
Many specialised words are missing. "Add to Dictionary" may overload the
dictionary and requires all users to perform this activity.

Expected Results:
Organise dictionary in a modular/tree form:
- General words are in the general dictionary, e.g. "en_US";
- Specialised words are organised in specialty dictionaries, e.g.
:en_US:Medicine", "en_US:Immunology", "en_US:Pharmacology";

Note:
- Overloading the Base-dictionary may hide spelling errors;
- The base dictionary is probably overloaded with words that are not used in a
scientific or business context, and many such words are probably not used even
by the general public;
- Those words may obfuscate true spelling errors;

Reproducible: Always
