Description:
When I attempt to Print an Impress Presentation with the Notes, LibreOffice
goes into the Spinning Pizza of Death mode. All available application memory on
my computer is consumed until the program is forced to quit. LibreOffice was
consuming 175 Gb of application memory when it was killed. I tried to Print a
simple 1-slide presentation that contained nothing but a title of "Test" and
the same thing happened. I then tried it on a "clean" computer with a clean
install of LibreOffice that had never run Impress, created a single-slide
presentation, and when I tried to print it the same thing happened. All tests
have been run on different Macs with Apple Silicon chips -- not tested on
Windows or Intel Macs.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a new Impress presentation or open an existing one. It does not have
to have any text in the presentation notes. Does not make any difference to the
bug.
2.Click on File -> Print
3.Under LibreaOffice -> LibreOffice Impress options, change "Document" to
"Notes
Actual Results:
Spinning Pizza of Death (SPOD) appears and remains until all application memory
of the computer is consumed, unless LibreOffice is paused or forced to quit.
Expected Results:
After a brief pause, allow the user to either select other options, print the
slides with the presenter notes, or save them to a PDF file.
