Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary|Replacing a word at the |Overwriting a proper |beginning of a marked |subsequence of sequence of |sequence loses marker color |styled characters uses | |preceding character style --- Comment #7 from Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> --- Note that if you select the _entire_ sequence of characters of a given style, this behavior does not manifest. So, amend the reproduction instructions as follows: 1. Copy and paste this sentence into Libreoffice Writer (yes, this one!). 2. Select the words "paste this sentence into" and highlight them in a background color of your choice (for instance, bright yellow). 3. Clear the selection (to avoid any special effects of the fact that we acted on the selection; although it doesn't actually matter). 4. Select the words "paste this sentence into" 5. Type "insert" instead. When you do this, the "insert" _does_ appear highlit with Yellow. That is, LO distinguishes the case of overwriting the entire formatted sequence of charaters and just the beginning of it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
