Demonstration on a 1280x1024 display
With LibreOffice 26.2 from Flathub, on Fedora 43's GNOME 49.4 Wayland session,
if you:
* Use the "GroupedBar Compact" toolbar UI layout
* Use a medium-resolution display (ex: 1280x1024, or 1600x900 px)
* Use a verbose language, such as French instead of English
…when you launch LibreOffice Writer and it launches maximized (which is the
case in GNOME when its dimensions approximate those of the screen), then you
will have buttons (and sections) that overlap with each other on the right of
the toolbar.
See attached demonstration videos.
I don't remember this being a problem with LibreOffice 25.8 and previous
versions.
