            Bug ID: 170896
Summary: (FEATURE REQUEST) - Prevent user from assigning
                    duplicate Autotext shortcuts.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
LibreOffice Writer currently has no mechanism preventing or atleast warning
users when making an AutoText with a duplicate shortcut.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create some AutoText.
2. Give it a shortcut that is already being used elsewhere (e.g. DT).
3. Enjoy weird behaviour when trying to insert your custom AutoText.

Actual Results:
LibreOffice Writer simply allows me to assign a shortcut being used by other
AutoTexts to AutoTexts I create. Doing so yields some weird but consistent
behavior from LibreOffice Writer; using the shortcut inserts the AutoText that
came with the application when I try to use the shortcut in a new document, but
once the AutoText menu has been opened and closed, Writer inserts my custom
AutoText with that shortcut instead.

Expected Results:
Warn the user that the shortcut is already in use and override the built-in
AutoTexts in favour of the user's custom one if they choose to ignore the
warning.

OR

Simply prevent the user from creating AutoTexts with in-use shortcuts.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Such a feature could prevent questions like
https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/date-time-autotext-insertion-shortcut-issue/132236
from popping up.

There are also issues regarding using special characters in AutoText shortcuts
apparently; although I haven't tested that.
