Having the help tooltip is the reason I prefer writing formulas in the formula bar instead of within the cell. In addition, doing this also disables formula autocompletion, also an undesirable side effect). I am aware that moving the tooltip lower would then obstruct the column headers' visibility, as complained in bug #63363 in previous version(s). One way to perhaps get a midway solution is to retain the tooltip's position but have it anchored to the bottom of the input form, so that the help toolbar can clear the upper area when the user opts to expand the formula bar vertically. Another way would be to allow the user configuration options to either specify where the help tooltip would display (as suggested on previous point or perhaps even on status bar) or disable it altogether without disabling autocompletion.
