            Bug ID: 170926
Summary: AutoFill mode interferes with Data Validity drop-down,
                    restricting arrow key navigation
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.4.7.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
In a cell with Data Validity set to a drop-down list, the list can be opened
while the mouse pointer is in the thin cross (AutoFill) mode. After closing the
list, cell movement using the arrow keys becomes restricted.

Behaviourally, it appears that triggering the drop-down list also activates
AutoFill range selection.
The issue seems to occur in the area where the fill handle at the bottom-right
corner of the cell overlaps with (or is immediately adjacent to) the drop-down
arrow button. This suggests a possible conflict in the boundary detection
between these two UI elements.

Therefore, the conditions required to reproduce the issue are somewhat strict.
However, it occurs consistently when those conditions are met.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set Data Validity to a drop-down list ("Cell range" or "List"; content
arbitrary).
2. Click any other cell.
3. Click the cell where the drop-down list is set.
4. Move the mouse pointer to the bottom-right corner of the cell so that the
thin cross (AutoFill) pointer is shown.
5. While in that state, click the nearby downward arrow button to open the
drop-down list.
6. Close the drop-down list (either by pressing Esc to cancel, or by selecting
a value via click or Enter).
7. Press Enter or any arrow key.

Actual Results:
- A thin AutoFill-like selection frame appears in the cell below (or to the
right).
- The selection expands or contracts only downward or only rightward from the
drop-down cell each time Enter or an arrow key is pressed.
- Pressing Esc does not restore normal behaviour. However, clicking the fill
handle while the thin cross (AutoFill) pointer is shown restores normal
behaviour.

Expected Results:
- The drop-down list should close and normal arrow key navigation between cells
should resume.
- Alternatively, when the thin cross (AutoFill) pointer is active, the
drop-down list should not open in the first place.

Reproducible: Always
