            Bug ID: 170928
Summary: View document properties in Writer resets viewing back
                    to start of document.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.0.3 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I am an academic who reads hundreds of student-submitted documents a week. Part
of the process is that I have to check the document properties to verify
authorship and student effort.

If I'm partway through reading a document (could be several pages in) before I
check the properties, it resets the viewer back to the start of the document. I
suppose its going back to the cursor location, rather than where I was viewing,
since I am reading rather than writing, so the cursor hasn't moved.

I only noticed it start doing this recently, but that doesn't mean its new -
only that I noticed it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load file.
2. Scroll a few page in.
3. View properties.
4. Close properties.

Actual Results:
Back at start of file.

Expected Results:
To still be where I was, regardless of cursor location.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
After starting in safe mode, resetting profile to factory, I noted that the
actual move back to the start of the document happened before the Properties
dialog opened.
