Description:
After updating to v26.2 can no longer save in any MS Word format (docx, doc, et
al) When attempting to save, Writer closes without saving. When reopening
Writer it tries to recover the version of document before latest edit. No
issue with saving in odf or txt formats.
Actual Results:
Open a docx file created prior to updating to 26.2
OR creating a new file after updating
Save file in any Word format, Writer closes without saving
Reopening Writer, dialogue opens to recover file version prior to save
Expected Results:
Ability to save Writer files in Word docx format
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
After uninstalling version 26.2, I deleted all LibreOffice program related
files, including User\appdata files
Reinstalled 25.8.5 and it appears to work correctly.
