Priority: medium
Bug ID: 67364
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FORMATTING: Auto-Correct no longer functions correctly
when replacing hyphens...
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.1.0.4 release
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
Prior to 4.1x, I had set up autocorrect to correct three hyphens --- with an
em-dash — .
This no longer functions. Libre now inserts an *en*-dash followed by a hyphen.
–-
What appears to be happening is that Libre now only gets as far as the first
two dashes, then invokes autocorrect to insert an en-dash.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Set up autocorrect to correct --- to an em-dash.
2. Type --- and space.
Current behavior:
Produces an en-dash followed by the third hyphen.
Expected behavior:
Should replace the three hyphens with an em-dash.
Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.1.0.4 release
