In my system, almost every tooltip in any area and in every module of LO is shown "under" the mouse pointer, so the mouse pointer is almost always interfering with my possibility to actually read the content of the tooltip in full. Having said that, the tooltips for each recent file in the start center (both in the "grid" and in the menu File > Recent Documents) does show "a" (partial?) path – the fact that the mouse pointer blocks my view of the initial part of the path is another issue.
