Please keep in mind that in this specific dialog ("Expert Configuration"), there is a checkbox that says "Show only modified preferences". So, although you don't have a button to "reset to defaults" all your expert settings at once, you do have a simple method to restrict the list of items to those that currently are set differently than their current default values. Then you can change the settings you want, back to their current default values. Aside from this specific dialog, you can also use the LO menu Help > Start in Safe mode, to compare your current behavior with the most basic Safe mode behavior, and you can also reset your entire user profile with this same method. Finally, allow me to suggest to use <https://ask.libreoffice.org>. Other users might be able to help you or prospose ideas or suggestions.
