            Bug ID: 171018
Summary: Digital Signature of a document with a X.509
                    certificate is not working
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

If you want to sign a document via Edit - Digital Signature an choose a X.509
certificate out of your certificate manager under WIN, you are stuck in this
dialoge for choosing the certificate and are not brought to the next screen
where it is shown, that the document was signed with the choosen certificate.
OpenPGP is working as expected, this wrong behaviour is just bound to the X.509
certificats under Windows with the Versions since 25.08.04, in the version
25.2.5 it still was working properly.

Steps to reproduce:

prerequisit: You have a personal x.509 certificate on a windows machine in your
certificate manager who is requested in LibreOffice for signing process.

1. Create a new odt with some contend and save it.

2. Go Edit - Digital Signature

3. Digital Signature - sign document

4. Load certificate from win cert manager

5. choose the one in X.509 technology

6. hit button sign and you are stucked in that dialoge without signing and
showing the following dialoge with the List of signatures of this document.

Observed behaviour:
the dialoge for choosing the certificate is not exited and followed by the list
of signatures for this document with the actual one from the choosen x.509
certificate

Expected Behaviour:
Show the next dialog with the list of signatures of the document with the
actual one with the chosen X.509 certificate
