Griffin <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- OS|Windows (All) |macOS (All) Version|24.2.5.2 release |26.2.0.3 release --- Comment #7 from Griffin <[email protected]> --- The previous to 26.2.0.3 (Mac) versions of OL Writer allowed for inserted files to a Master Document from a Finder folder, where the desired files were listed in order, and all (41 sub files) at once. Was this a feature discarded in the latestes upgrade of OL? Question to Perplexity about OL Ver 26..2.0.3 (AARCH64): Response: You’re right: older LibreOffice master‑document workflows let you select several files at once and insert them in one go from a folder dialog, and that ability is still documented.[1][2] In current builds for Mac, the Navigator “Insert ▸ File” control is still the place where multi‑select works; the newer Insert → Content from Document… menu only takes one file at a time, and only from a OL resident file directory. On (My) macOS 26.x that Navigator insert button appears to have been redesigned or hidden, so from what you’re seeing it’s effectively removed for now, which is why you can’t batch‑insert the 40 files the way you did before.[3][4] Will this be reinstated, or perhaps is there an undocumented, adaquate work around? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
