In the latest version of Libreoffice calc, I still have to format my pivot
tables every time I update the table. 

This is a request that I think has been requested for years, although there is
the option to apply automatic formatting, it is not functional when you have
several reports with several dynamic tables that you have to update often. 

It's a feature implemented in Office since I believe even before Office 2007
and Libreoffice should have this implemented currently. 

I have read answers that suggest that the source of the pivot table should be
modified instead of the format of the pivot table itself, but what if the
source is a "base" or sql database connected to Libreoffice calc? 

I hope you take this feature as a priority for the next version, I'm sure many
users like me who use spreadsheets daily with pivot tables will greatly
appreciate it.
