Daniele <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |UNCONFIRMED Ever confirmed|1 |0 Resolution|INSUFFICIENTDATA |--- --- Comment #30 from Daniele <[email protected]> --- Hi, it took me a long time go get back, sorry. I changed the attachment a bit. The first thing I did was copying the text with errors in the cells below the cells to have a continuous text where different parts are in different languages. Second I introduced new errors (highlighted in light red) in the part with the cells. (new attachment) Results: 1) In the continuous text below the cells, the behaviour is the same I am experiencing in longer documents with foreign languages and citations: language tool underlines the foreign language as if it were wrong. Looking more closely, it may be that it treats the subsequent languages (IT is the first) as if they were Italian, so that only words which may be Italian are not underlinded. (Everything Italian-Screenshot 2026-03-01 at 10.29.12) 2) In the cells where I introduced new errors only in some cases the errors get underlined: FR and some in IT. But when I introduced a new error in Spanish a bit lower, also the previous errors got underlined in Spanish. In Italian, the majority of errors was not spotted, the same goes for German and English. (Screenshot Erratic underlying) 2.1) I have the impression that some errors were detected later on (minutes after). Some, after many minutes are not detected. Expected behaviour: In Cells or continuous text: any grammar or orth. mistakes in a text correctly codified in one language should be underlined according to that language right away, otherwise the user does not know if s/he has to wait or if it does not work. After closing and reopening the file, some new errors are underlined, but not all (screenshot new underlying) I also often get a connection error: Could not establish Internet connection to https://api.languagetool.org/v2/check. Client error message: (22) HTTP response code said error (screenshot: error) could it be related? I hope you can solve this.
