I had the same problem opening a password protected file that was saved using version 4.0.2. My installation: LibreOffice_4.1.0.4_Linux_x86-64_deb Ubuntu 13.04 x64 This is my fist post here, so forgive me if I'm doing something wrong. The file has personal data, so I cannot attach it. If needed, I can try to reproduce using another file. Please let me know if I can help to fix this. I'm a Developer, but I haven't worked with LibreOffice code.
