            Bug ID: 171171
Summary: [1] [FORMATTING] Accessing Format dropdown menu causes
                    LibreOffice to freeze
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.5.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Updated to 26.2.1 and it would become frozen on the loading screen.

Rolled back to 25.8.5, disabled GPU acceleration and Skia rendering, and can
get past the loading screen.

While trying to fix this problem I deleted all my old user profile info,
including customised paragraph styles.

Current problem is trying to access anything under the Format dropdown menu
causes LibreOffice to freeze. This happens in Safe Mode and with a new user
profile.

I have reinstalled both versions of LibreOffice multiple times using downloads
from the official website.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open LibreOffice in Safe Mode.
2. Disable hardware acceleration.
3. Disable Skia rendering.
4. Reset User Profile to default.
5. Open LibreOffice in Safe Mode or Normal Mode.
6. Open a Writer document.
7. Go to Set Paragraph Style > select any style > Edit Style... OR select
Format > select any option.

Actual Results:
LibreOffice freezes and does not respond. Have to right click and choose Close
Window.

Expected Results:
LibreOffice should have opened the relevant formatting menu.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes
