Bug ID: 171201
Summary: Crash occurs when quickly scrolling/continuously
browsing fonts via mouse wheel in the font dropdown
menu of LibreOffice
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When selecting fonts in the font dropdown menu of LibreOffice, if you quickly
scroll down the font list with the mouse wheel or continuously hold the wheel
to browse fonts, the software will crash immediately; the problem does not
occur when selecting fonts slowly or not scrolling the wheel, and only
reappears when quickly or continuously scrolling the font list.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open LibreOffice Writer
2.Click the font dropdown menu in the toolbar to open the font selection list
3.Quickly scroll down the font list with the mouse wheel or continuously hold
the wheel to browse fonts
4.Observe the software status, and a crash will occur immediately
Actual Results:
After triggering the operation of quickly/continuously scrolling the font list,
LibreOffice crashes directly without any error prompts, and the process is
forced to close。
Expected Results:
Normal browsing of the font list in the dropdown menu, the software should not
crash regardless of scrolling speed, and fonts can be selected normally.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
