            Bug ID: 171253
Summary: LibreOffice - Remote Open Failing in V26.2.1.2
                    (X86_64)
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.1.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal

Description:
Attn: mikekaganski (I couldn't figure out how to cc him on this ticket)

Version: 26.2.1.2 (X86_64)
Build ID: 620(Build:2)
CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26200); UI render: Skia/Raster;
VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: CL threaded

I am trying to connect to Google Drive. I get to the screen: LibreOffice wants
access to your Google Account. Port 49153 is open (verified by successful
telnet). However, when I click “Continue”, I get an error screen: Unable to
connect. Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at localhost:49153.
At this point the port 49153 is closed.

In doing more testing and prior to hitting “Continue”, I did a ctrl-c in the
successful telnet window. The following was dumped to the screen:
HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request
Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii
Server: Microsoft-HTTPAPI/2.0
Date: Fri, 06 Mar 2026 22:11:23 GMT
Connection: close
Content-Length: 326
Bad Request
Bad Request - Invalid Verb

HTTP Error 400. The request verb is invalid.

Connection to host lost.

I have tried this with 3 different Windows machines in my environment and have
obtained the same results on each machine. I asked another person (who is not
in my house) to attempt a successful “Remote Open” using the same version of
LibreOffice that I have, and they got the same results as I did.

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I couldn't figure out how to attache screen shots.

Thanks…

Steps to Reproduce:
1. File | Open Remote
2. Pick Google Drive
3. I get to the screen: LibreOffice wants access to your Google Account
4. Hit Continue

Actual Results:
I get an error screen: Unable to connect. Firefox can’t establish a connection
to the server at localhost:49153.

Expected Results:
Connect to Google Drive

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
