Personally, I'm pretty sure (I work with around 4500 LibreOffice users here) that a huge majority of user simply *don't use* styles at all and that very few of the remaining don't use list styles in this tree. It'll certainly be interesting to have a reliable statistic done inside this fraction of the users. And yes, I can customize the hierarchy but it's not a right answer: every time I install a new computer, I have to do this the hard way. And the use of personalized styles is very tricky.
