            Bug ID: 171304
Summary: Endnotes and footnotes disappear when the document is
                    saved in Markdown
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
When a text has endnotes and/or footnotes, they disappear definitely when the
file is saved as a Markdown document. There is no way to recover them from the
.md file even if you open it in LibreOffice. It seems that they are deleted.

In some configurations (Debian) the footnote is damaged (and the end has been
completely deleted). You can see the link in French that explains that:
https://linuxfr.org/news/libreoffice-26-2-markdown-accessibilite-et-plein-d-autres-nouveautes-et-ameliorations#comment-2013650

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Make a Writer file with endnotes and/or footnotes
2.Save it as a .md file
3.Open it in a text editor (Vim, Kate, Mousepad, etc.)

Actual Results:
The .md file has no longer endnotes and footnotes even if you open it again in
LibreOffice.

Expected Results:
The file should keep them.

Reproducible: Always
