I have a Base file backed by an ODS and a second Base file backed by a
PostgreSQL database open at the same time. I copy a table from the former and
paste it into the latter. The dialog to do the paste pops up. I answer the
questions and click Create. It asks me for permission to create a primary key
column. I say yes. The pop-up goes away. There are no errors, and yet the table
has not been created. It has completely silently failed to do what it was
instructed to do.
I have confirmed (by creating a table manually) that the second Base file has
proper access to the database, so this is not an access issue.
