Due to the merging of bug reports, I would like to add some clarifying
information.

- Although modifying the list style does not work, it is interesting to note
that if I select the text directly within the list and choose List -> Bullets
and Numbering from the context menu (right-click) and make some changes, the
modification works and is applied to the used style (it is not treated as
direct formatting). However, if I click on a specific list style and try to
modify it, the change does not work (this is what I reported as the
regression).

- Paolo Benvenuto writes here that there is also an issue with the page style,
but for me, the page style works completely without any problem.

- Furthermore, Paolo mentions the fix:

been implemented into the source code or if it's pending, but when I built a
fresh build today, the bug is still there, it hasn't been fixed:
