This question relates to copying a piece of Unicode text, encoded as part of
the Myanmar block which is being copied into Libre Office but not being picked
up as Myanmar Text (unlike in Microsoft Word)
We tested a piece of text that was written in a heritage font and converted
into Unicode using the Tai Phake Appspot Converter
(https://langtools2024.appspot.com/convert/phk).
This is the test piece of text that we tried to encode:

In the appended .pdt, there is a screen shot showing that while the symbols in
piece of text are correct symbols from one of the Noto Serif Myanmar series of
fonts, Libre office is interpreting this text as Lucida Sans. The screen shot
has the copied section of text highlighted and shows that Libre Office
interprets this as Lucida Sans
Note that when we added Burmese as a Complex Script, the font automatically
changed to one of the Notos, slightly defective spacing and some other
implementation issues, but still showing as Lucida Sans, as the screen shot
shows. Note that when we do this same process in Word, the text is
automatically recognised as Myanmar text.
We have set Complex text layout to Burmese (without which the font of the
copied text is a less standard one, as per the second screen shot in the
appended .pdf
When trying to do a search and replace on this ‘Lucida Sans’, it is not picking
up Lucida Sans
and not making the change:
