Ah, yes, fair question. The input is: If we want to account for direction, how
would we do that, given that the style names themselves are all either hard-LTR
or neutral.

The usual way: I right-clicked their entries on the sidebar style deck, and
changed the direction in the dialog that came up.

I used it for added contrast between two styles. For another example, set the
Default Paragraph Style to RTL (which in turn sets all Heading N directions to
RTL) and open the Heading Numbering dialog. Everything is shown LTR'ishly. And
this example covers most of the documents RTL users write...
