Problem description:
When entering text to a text block, space-bar input is not recognized. One
cannot enter spaces between words.
Also, the US$ sign is converted to @
I was using the version included with Mint 15. I uninstalled it and installed
4.1.0.4. This version has the same problem. The problem is not present under
Windows 7.
