Please split the topics. We aim to resolve a report with a patch - and this can
be done for #1 but #2 is a different question (I'll CC the right people on a
new patch), and #3 and #4 are not suited for Bugzilla but the mailing list

Sure, but this sounds to me much more difficult (and rather shiny than
efficient) than the proposed solution. We have a couple of reports anyway.

The bug tracker is a vast source for UX. Your input has much more value than
some random data points. Which we intentionally don't track.
