            Bug ID: 171667
Summary: Ability to copy and paste styles (not content)
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.8.0.0 alpha0+ master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

In LibreOffice modules, we edit documents, and thus - are able to copy and
paste parts of documents.

However - we also edit _styles_. And the styles in one document may be useful
in another document, without any of the content they may apply to.

So, it would be nice if we could copy styles, and paste them, e.g. using the
Styles deck of the Sidebar. The heavy lifting here would be figuring out
exactly what to copy and how to identify a style, as opposed to a piece of
content; and the easier part would be adding relevant items to the context menu
- a Copy item and a Paste item. (Possibly even a Cut item, although that's not
very important).

A regular paste might also have the same effect of a right-click in the
sidebar.

(A possible concern on the bikeshedding level would be that there is no empty
area in the sidebar for a context menu in which to add a Paste action, so it
would be the context menu of any of the existing styles.)
