V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] See Also| |https://bugs.documentfounda | |tion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11 | |3828 --- Comment #4 from V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> --- Status bar already shows the page/slide number. And by default pages/slides are created with a generic "Page #" or "Slide #" title for each. Yes they can be 'renamed' from the Navigator or the Page pane/Slide pane context menu--but most will not have a name beyond the default. So if space is carved out of the Status Bar, would display the Page/Slide # of ## from the Go to Page widget, and the generic name of the Page/Slide. So, no added value for majority of users who don't rename their pages/slides! For those that do, IMHO the Navigator is much more efficient/cohesive place to work. I would only agree to adding a field for Page/Slide name, adjacent to the Slide master selector widget, IFF it would not be enabled by default and could be disabled. So dependency on bug 113828 and bug 112620 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
