--- Comment #10 from Keith Curtis <[email protected]> ---
I think it's a mistake to not have AI features.

The good news is if anyone wants AI in LibreOffice, install my sophisticated
plugin (or other plugins) and let me know if any bugs:
https://github.com/KeithCu/writeragent.

AI is an (increasingly) powerful tool, so it's important to recognize that like
all tools, it can be used well, or badly.

Here are a couple of scenarios I've used my plugin for that don't involve slop
or having AI replace thinking:
* Take this mess of text and turn it into a pretty table
* look up the price of a product
* Help with grammar of a complicated legal sentence.
* Explain the page gutter feature

It is true that my tool can generate complete documents for you ("Do web
research and write a pretty, colorful summary of the space elevator, suitable
for mathematicians") or anything else.

However, I find that I still read the documents it generates, and learn, so
while it can replace writing, it doesn't necessarily replace reading or
thinking or learning. Also, LibreOffice has multiple customers: in business,
the goal isn't to do things manually, when a tool can help you work better and
faster.

In any case while this bug is resolved, in the meanwhile check out my or the
other extensions. Mine has the most features ;-)
