            Bug ID: 171935
Summary: Version of LibreOffice included in Linux Mint corrupts
                    Formula Objects.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 3.3.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Linux Mint install/Live CD includes a copy of LibreOffice preinstalled.
Since at least Linux Mint v22.1, the preinstalled version of LibreOffice has
had a fault such that in LibreOffice Impress, under the Insert>OLE Object, the
option for Formula Object is greyed out. Worse, clicking on any formula Objects
you may have in documents causes them to get corrupted.

Tried to report it via Linux Mint, but keep getting blocked from signing up for
GitHub.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download Linux Mint Live .iso and make bootable.
https://linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=326
2. From Start menu>Office, open LibreOffice Impress and create a document.
3. Go Insert>OLE Object Formula Object is greyed out.

Actual Results:
Clicking Insert>OLE Object shows Formula Object is greyed out.
Double-clicking on any formula Objects you may have had in a document causes
them to get corrupted (turns them into static images rather than editable
formula objects).

Expected Results:
Formula Object should not be greyed out and pre-existing formula objects should
not get corrupted.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
If, once you have booted into Linux Mint, you download and install either the
latest version of LibreOffice, or the AppImage, this problem does not occur.

I have included an Impress file with some formula objects for you to double
click.

I am unable to report this bug via Linux Mint's bug reports as they use GitHub
and Github just will not let me sign up for an account.

Thank you.
